African Black Soap (also known as black soap) is a completely natural soap for cleaning the skin, scalp and hair. Its amazing ingredients and properties not only deeply clean but also replenish vital nutrients which help clear up dry, cracked skin, blemishes, irritations and scalp build-up.

Our authentic African Black Soap is made by a women coop in Ghana using an authentic recipe. It is imported in small batches so it is fresh. This soap is popular for its deep cleaning and nourishing properties and the fact that it is 100% natural with no chemicals or artificial fragrances. This set includes our well-known Unscented version as well as three scented versions (Lemongrass, Lavender and Tea Tree) which are scented with 100% natural essential oils.
Authentic Black Soap has a distinctive dark brown color which comes from its ingredients. It is safe for all skin types and particularly beneficial to balancing out oily skin, soothing irritated skin and cleansing sensitive skin.
For regular use it is best to lather the soap bar and spread onto the skin. You can also use the bar directly on the skin to exfoliate or follow our recipe to make it into a liquid soap.

Weight: 16 oz (4 – 4oz bars = 16oz total)
Use the slice of soap when washing your hands, face or body until it is used up. For normal use, lather in your hands and apply the lather to the body and face. For added exfoliation lightly rub the bar directly against the skin.
Store African Black Soap either in its original packaging, or place in a plastic or glass jar with a lid. Keep it in a cool, dry place.

I wasn’t sure what to expect but ordered the soap set and gave it a whirl. The first wash my skin felt a little “too clean” but now I’m in love with it. Each time I use it, I feel like my skin is really nourished instead of just on the surface for example, my legs would always get ashy after shaving and putting on lotion and they don’t anymore since using this. It does get a little puddy-like after a few uses but great overall.
I bought this when it first came out. I use Black Soap all the time. Really like this set. I'm using the Tea Tree Oil soap now. It's smell good, the soap is smooth, makes your skin soft. I will also be using this to wash my hair. I would recommend this product.
