Use Mineral Sunscreen

Use Mineral Sunscreen

An episode of Dr. Oz shows the great doctor saying that only 25 percent of sunscreens on the market are free of ingredients that could be considered poisonous. This includes the sunscreens available for and marketed to our children!

How can you make sure that you are using a safe sunscreen?  Use Mineral Sunscreen, without all of the possibly poisonous chemicals. When you use non-nano zinc oxide to make sunscreen, you do two things.

1. You ensure that nothing harmful absorbs into the bloodstream. Cosmetic Grade Zinc Oxide does not penetrate the skin, but simply coats it for protection.

2. You protect yourself from both UVA & UVB rays.

Chemical sunscreens are absorbed into the skin to perform the task of protecting it from these rays. However, zinc oxide sunscreen has particles that sit on top of the skin to perform the same task.  Zinc Oxide acts as a barrier and a reflector without absorbing into the skin.  This is important, because nothing is being absorbed into your bloodstream. Things absorbing into your bloodstream can be very harmful for your body.  There are many recipes you can find for zinc oxide sunscreen on our Pinterest account. You can find our zinc oxide powder in our Shop.
